Simon Clark Social Media Expert – Stand out through the power of social media – Simon advised businesses to look at the social media of their three nearest competitors and compare with their own. Anything you do today will help you tomorrow, he said.

Alex Buckle Travel Counsellors – Alex has been working in the travel industry for a quarter of a century. He will be continuing to enhance his business in 2021 and is particularly looking for those in the 50 to 65-year-old age group who are looking to fulfil their travel aspirations. He has just arranged a holiday for a celebrity in Dubai and has only a couple of places left for his Finnish Lapland trip announced last week.
Collette Parker 20 20 Communications – Collette is celebrating almost four decades since she began training as a journalist with the NCTJ (National Council for Training Journalists). She was sponsored at the time by a family group of local newspaper publishers and went on to become their Young Journalist of the Year. Her career went on to include regional daily titles – Oxford Mail and Cambridge Evening News, national magazines (TVTimes) for 10 years, before she took a break to do a degree in English and Drama at University of Cambridge, and began her work in PR and Creative Engagement.
Impressions – the one-stop print shop in Somersham prides itself on great service. A customer needed 400 wire-bound brochures printed quickly. The order was received on Tuesday and delivered on Thursday!
Towergate Insurance – Paul Doggett said we are living in extradorinary times at the moment and insurance companies are becoming more selective about the risks they choose to insure. Choose the right broker to put you in the right direction and don’t accept a quotation which does not deliver the service, Paul said.
Omnidogs –January puppy courses are being launched in January on Monday and Tuesday evenings. If you are getting a puppy in the next few weeks be sure to sign up! Foundation courses are also being extended for young dogs to keep them engages and stop them turning into wild teenagers.
Riverport Specialist Cleaning – if you are expecting visitors into your social bubble over Christmas and they include toddlers, young children or pets, you may need to book some specialist cleaning for early in the New Year!
