Presentation – Matt Silsby – M & D Flooring
Matt, 34, lives in Ramsey with his young family. He is one of the longest members of the group – having been a member for almost 10 years. He started working in flooring as a youngster during school holidays. When he left school he went into work with his father and then established M&D Flooring which has gone from strength to strength and now has a shop in the centre of St Ives, opened by the Mayor of the town.
The company works in both domestic and commercial flooring, with a huge range of flooring options, from luxury carpets and tiles, to specialist flooring for dancing in schools, universities and theatres. Flooring has been laid for Anglian Water, Thomas Quinn locally and interesting projects including printed vinyl flooring for film sets. M&D is also a specialist in flooring for care homes and children’s nurseries. Matt shared an impressive array of designs with members and gave details of the comprehensive training he gives his staff to be able to offer the range of options and services available to achieve imaginative and stylish designs.
